Hi guys,
This is my very first time here in this forum. How cool! I was recently accepted to CRNA school for Jan. of '09. I am bit sick to my stomach after reading the life of a SRNA. However, I was not surprised of how intense the programs are. I have seen my very own mother go through it.
I will have 1 year and 5 months of critical care experience before I start the program. Is this enough experience? I know that most schools like to accept students with a minimum of 2 years ICU experience. I guess I got lucky.

Great job ab28. If the school excepted you on 1.5 years exp. then they thought that you were wise beyond your years. Where are you going to school. I think that you will do great. I start at Our Lady of the Lake in August. Good luck and never forget to pray.

SCRNA 3851, I wanted to ask you a couple of things about OLOTL. You don't have contact info; would you mind sending me a PM?
Thanks!

Wow congrats! You must be very excited, I know I would!
Are there any tips you can share? Where did you get accepted?
Good luck this upcoming January - I bet you have a lot of preparing to do - mentally and physically! :)

Not sure what a pm is but if u have some ?'s feel free to ask, there are aren't any strangers here. I am not very savy with this site yet.
nor is my grammar very appropriate
Great, can you give me any insight on your interview/observations about your experience with OLOTL?
what ?'s might u have. List them out and I will reply
Sorry to "high jack" the thread!
Ok,....just wondered what your interview experience was like. BTW, PM is a private message. You have to have contact information, and can do that in your profile if you like.
radrn2001,
it was calm and easy going. nursing and personal questions. class of 30 people. three interviewers who where all very nice. it is what u make of it. be on point. hard to remember certain ?'s but I can say that the ?'s were not simple. if you scored over 100 on the CCRN the things should be fine. good luck. where r u from in LA.
Monroe.... woo hoo!
I just moved from east tx to baton rouge a few months ago with my family.
