Just can not wait!!!

I've come to allnurses almost every other day since a couple months before I started nursing school last August and finally became a member tonight. Recently, I started a nurse internship at the hospital my school is connected with and everyday I work I just can't stop thinking about how I can't wait for next May when I graduate. I'm just so excited to finally get there and be able to call myself a nurse. I think it's because I finally see light at the end of the tunnel and realized how fast last year went. However, I know I need to slow down and enjoy school and the relationships I've made but it's so hard not to get ahead of myself. My school is a 2 year program after you get your pre reqs done and then you receive your BSN after the program and its amazing and given me so many opportunities such as me and 2 of my buddies being chosen to present our research poster at the AAMN national convention in September. This was possible from my advisor and the great faculty since we won people's choice at our regional nursing expo. We were shocked the AAMN chose our abstract and are the first students from the school to present at a national convention while attending. My classmates are great and I'm just fortunate I picked the program I did and it's one of the top in the state. I know it sounds silly but it's summer break and I just keep thinking about the anxiousness I have to finally become what I'm in school for yet balance the need to keep enjoying the ride. Well anyways love reading everyone's post and kills time while also being insightful. Thank you for your time!!!
