Jobs

Hello everyone,

I've been searching for work for a little while now and I've applied everywhere. I am in the Pa-Philly area. I would really love to land a job at Penn Medicine. Does anyone have any advice? I keep hearing that I may as well look at skilled rehab facilities because I will probably have a hard time getting into a hospital unless I know someone. I do not know anyone and that sorta saddens me because I have good recommendations from instructors. I finished an accelerated bsn program with honors despite having to retake a nursing course over. Some residency program ask for transcripts, but that one course I didn't do well in I'm worried about. I would love to work in a hospital for experience but will also apply to skilled rehab facilities just to cover my bases. So these are my questions:

1. Will i get into a hospital without knowing someone? I am trying to find work on a med surg unit...

2. I graduated with honors despite one course, do I show my transcripts to nurse residency programs? (it is optional)

Thanks everyone!
