As I understand it OPT is not a work permit but allows you to gain experience and needs to be applied for before you complete your training. Your International student adviser should be able to assist you will that. You can apply for jobs before you finish your training but most employers will expect to see a pass in NCLEX. If your employer ask about requirements ie OPT then I personally would say do not lie to them if they ask then tell them

You will still be under the F-1 status with the OPT, it is not a separate work permit. There is no specific visa for that. As long as you continue on with your studies for the BSN after your OPT finishes, then you will be able to remain in the US.
There is no work permit, and all employers are aware of the one year statute on the OPT.
With the OPT, you can get hired before you pass the NCLEX exam, since you are not applying for a new visa. You must apply for the OPT before you actually graduate, please check with your international advisor as to when you need to it, but it is not usually until your last semester of school.
Best of luck to you.
thax for your answers. i really appereciate it.
