Feb 12, 201214 yr Hi everyone,I have received two written job offers. The first is a permanent full-time and the second a relief full-timejob offer. What confuses me is that I always thought that a relief position isterminated to the return of the incumbent. But this relief job offer isn`t terminated? What do you think, is this maybe a mistake or does relief not automatically mean to be a terminated position?Thank you very much for your help!Mona77
Feb 12, 201214 yr Author Yes, I have sent an e-mail asking for clarification, but havn`t received an answer until now.Two days left to decide which job to take and the relieffull time job offer is the more interesting and challenging position.I would have called the nursing manager, but she was available at the office only late in the afternoon and I am currently in Germany 9 hours forward.
Oct 3, 201213 yr Hi Mona77,How are you?I have the same question about relief full time. So how does it work? Is the position terminated upon the return of the incumbent? And what about the benefits? Do you have a full time benefit? Hope to hear from you soon. :)
Oct 4, 201213 yr Author Hi iheartcanucks2012,I chose the relief full time position and the position was terminated to the return ofthe incumbent - but in my case the incumbent was on maternity leave moving down Southto Vancouver (I am in the Northwest of BC).But even before she resigned another 2 permanent positions opened, so after 3 months I was successful in applying for a permanent full time position. It worked out for me - wish you the best!Mona77
Hi everyone,
I have received two written job offers.
The first is a permanent full-time and the second a relief full-time
job offer.
What confuses me is that I always thought that a relief position is
terminated to the return of the incumbent.
But this relief job offer isn`t terminated?
What do you think, is this maybe a mistake or does relief not automatically
mean to be a terminated position?
Thank you very much for your help!
