Job interview questions?

I recently have put my resume out and have had 2 facilities ask for an interview. My first one is the beginning of next week. It's been a while since I went on an interview, and I was a new nurse when I went. What kind of questions should I expect to be asked? What does the interviewer want to know about me? What makes a strong interview? The two interviews are in different fields, hospice and home health.

I know I want to ask questions about orientation, nurse/patient ratios, my job description, hours available, etc. Anything else?

Any pointers for me? I'm a little nervous. Thanks. :)

I had my first job interview since a new grad last year in October.

I mostly was asked about what types of patients I was comfortable taking care of. A lot of questions about that. I was presented with scenarios and asked what I would do. Then a lot of generic interview questions about examples of how you work with a team, how you manage multiple tasks when there isn't enough time, 3 words to describe yourself and why, stuff like that.

I think asking questions looks good too and I like the ones you've chosen.

Do you plan on going back to school in the future?

Why do you want to work here?

Tell me about yourself.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

What is your biggest strength? Weakness?

Good luck!

They gave me a couple of senarios like "what would you do if a MD is putting in a chest tube and you never helped out and he needs something". Answer: policy and procedure. they also asked me: why do you want to work here?, what do i want to do in 5 years?, what are your strength and weakness? In my interview I made sure to mention that I work well with other and a team player (which is what they LOVE), I like to learn new things and keep myself educated (which is also something they love), you are not afraid to ask question if you don't know something, or admit that if I can't do something to make sure I look it up and find out. Those are really important things to mention cause they dont want you to just do something you don't know what your doing and end up killing someone and you don't want to act too condifent like you know everything when you really don't.
