my school hosts one every year and we are told to show up with lots of resumes in case we talk to someone who likes us. i think its a great time to see whats out there for you and to ask alot of questions.

Go with lots of resume and dress professionally. Some may may like to give you a short interview on the spot.

Take a bunch of resumes, ask a lot of questions, dress professionally (like a pp said) and also wear a big smile.
I enjoy going to them, as a matter of fact, I am off to one tomorrow.
You never know who you might meet that will make a difference in your life!
Good luck to you!!
well,,,,,I went to the job fair......it was a joke for me......no one hires lpns.....I was shot down....I have never felt so depressed.. I felt like the Job fair was more for RNs....I know I could go to a LTC...but I dont want to....I dont agree with the fact that the residents have to take all those pills,,,,crushed ...when they are not suppose to be crushed.....its gross.....its just not right.....and it saddens me....I have dropped off my resumes at doctors offices.....etc. I really dont know why LPN programs exist...?????? I had no clue that I would run into this.....the LPN programs are veered toward working in LTC........or offices.....which are too few and far between....
