job experience help

I am a military spouse and have gone to and from the same job twice. For example, I worked for a bank from 2007-2008, and then again from 2010-2012. How would I write that on a resume? Also is there any thing I should write to identify my gap in employment being a mil spouse?

I've only had 1 serious job at 28 years old. Most of my life I have lived overseas and have been traveling. Is that going to hurt my chances due to lack of "experience"?

Also the only other real job I've ever had was an a sandwich shop when I was a teenager. Do I even include that? I think not since it's not really professional. I'm so lost here. Please help.

Most definitely do NOT include the job at the sub shop on the nursing resume. We have seriously received the same resume multiple times from a nurse who claims to be an "experienced charge nurse" but she just got her license 6 months ago and the only work experience she lists is Wendy's (the fast food joint) and a retail store. That resume goes right in the recycling every time it comes through the fax.

For a nursing resume, focus on your nursing experience. I don't know that I'd include the banking experience at all or call attention to the fact that you lived overseas for years due to your spouse's military status. You don't want a potential employer thinking "this person's gonna abscond overseas in the middle of her training."

Not at all. How could I emphasize that I would not run overseas? I live overseas now and will be leaving early (and leaving my husband behind) in order to go to nursing school. That's a pretty decent sacrifice imo.
