I graduated from nursing school in NYC last year, right when no one was hiring new nurses due to covid, but I was able to get a non clinical job as a home visiting nurse doing distance visits.
I am now looking to work in a hospital, and my dream is nicu or l&d here in NYC. Does anyone have any advice or insight? I got to the second interview with an NYP nicu position, but Workday is showing me as no longer under consideration. So I am guessing I didn't make it.
Any advice anyone can offer on increasing my odds of getting a hospital position, preferably in either the nicu or l&d units would be so appreciated. Thanks all!
