Has anyone been accepted to the 2013 APW program at Jefferson in Philadelphia?

wow~ you're so lucky that you live close by! :)

has anyone else received their housing assignments yet? I got assigned to martin hall but when I went for a tour i did not get to see that one I am wondering what the set up is like like how many people to share a kitchen? or how many share a lounge area

I got assigned to martin hall as well! I have not been there yet but I was told that in each floor there is kitchen/dining area.

We have a microwave & a refrigerator in each room as well! When is your move in date? Is anyone moving in August 15th? :)

my move in date is not until september first I was told I can't move in before then. Do you know what floor you are on I got placed on the sixth floor I just hope im rooming with someone in a similar program

I'm in Martin too. They put me on the 4th floor and my move in is September 1st.

Hey everyone! I am a little late to the convo but I will be joining all of you this in the APW program. I was debating on living on campus. Does anyone have any insight on how it is living on campus?

I am going to the make-up orientation session on August 22nd as well.

Emdonnelly1205, sorry I haven't been on the forum in awhile. I will be living on campus in the orlowitz residence. Orlowitz and barringer are the two most expensive, Martin is a smarter choice (and in retrospect I would have chosen differently). However, I am super excited to move in. The on campus apartments/residence hall are nice and close to classes, the library, gym, etc. plus they have constant security coverage, which is quite important in the city. I am not too familiar with the public transportation, but I believe they are close to some SEPTA stops.

Really excited for it.

If you'd like I could PM you so we can be fb friends (if you have one) and I can send you the group invite.

Hey all. I have accepted my offer for the 2014 APW program and was hoping for some pointers. First off, how is it going? Harder/easier then you thought it would be? I am a perpetual planner and this not knowing what my life will be like next fall is already driving me a little crazy! What is the schedule like and would you say you have more/less downtime then you thought you would? Lastly, the iPad situation. I have the 1st generation so I am obviously going to upgrade. What size would you suggest, mini/regular- 16/32g? Thanks!!!
