Are you active duty? I'm Air Force Reserve and want to get commissioned after finishing my BSN in May 09. I'm a ADN RN for 3 years now. I'm considering Navy Reserve if I get commissioned. Please post your experience at ODS. Just want to know what to expect if I decide to go that route.
I'm active duty, 4yrs. I believe that Navy reserves go to a different school that is even shorter than ODS, but I could be wrong. There are a couple of threads in this forum from the past month or two about people's experiences at ODS. They all provided excellent information.
:hpygrp::rckn::clphnds: COOL Now you have to change your "name" from wanttobeanavynurse to something else!Congratulations!

hello all-
have been reading along for a while but this is my first post.
was told by my recruiter that everything was submitted to navy recruiting command almost two weeks ago but haven't heard anything yet. anyone know when I should be expecting a decision from them? i'm getting rather antsy and I can't get ahold of my recruiter. I was hoping to go to ODS ASAP... thanks.

I finally commissioned today as an Ensign in the Navy Nurse Corps!

It's official now after signing my name about fifty times on fifty different forms. So I'm headed to ODS in January. Class starts January 4th. Anyone else going?
