Is it really worth it getting it?

As I get ready to send my BRN application (CA) I am debating if I should send the money for the interim permit. Is it really worth it now days how the job market is; or do you guys believe it will still make a difference between getting hired earlier or not?

    No need to get the IP. My cohort and the ones after me received our CA license relatively quickly after we passed boards.

    IP will help if you're hired and about to start but don't have license by the start date. But then, not all hospitals recognize IP.
