Is Re-applying Impossible?

My GPA is a 3.0, and I am looking to get accepted into the nursing program.

I still have A&P 1 and 2, MicroBio, Statistics, Psychology , Philosophy, Econ/Sociology, Nutrition, & Human Growth and Development to to fulfill. I've done the calculations and even if I get an A in all those course the best I slide away with is a 3.3.

Was wondering that if I dont make it the first time, is re-applying the following year or semester afterwards possible?

and in the meantime of doing so, would re-taking some of my courses and getting better grades be beneficial?

Thanks

You can reapply at most schools, check with your school. But you need to try for all As. Do not repeat any classes at this point unless you got a C. Good luck.

I think its absolutely possible!!!

Just remember the saying, if at first you don't succeed, try, try again! But you may just make it the first time around too:) I had a 3.0 when I applied to nursing school and was accepted. I had a C too ( though I would highly recommend working your best to get As especially in the sciences) but remember: there are MANY factors to your nursing application, including:

-your essay

-your interview ( if applicable)

-extracurriculars

-job experience

-volunteer work

-healthcare work

-general admissions (i.e is your resume neat, was everything on time, did you attend an open house)

Good luck!
