I received an email today from an advisor in my school's nursing program regarding the status of my app. According to her, I have been provisionally accepted pending my two letters of reference. Great, but the cost of my school is ridiculous...around 23K a year. I do receive fin aid and have a partial scholarship, but what if my fin aid runs out before I complete the program? I CANNOT afford that. This does not include extra expenses like clinical and lab fees... I also was originally suppose to graduate with a BS this semester...but due to major changes, transfers, time off and part time school, I still have about two years to go. I just don't know if my fin aid will carry me that far. I honestly don't know what to do. Also, our RN program is an ADN program that bridges to a BSN. I'm not sure if that matters in regard to financial aid, since technically I would be in pursuit of an Associates first, then a Bachelors...having already been in school for about 2 years.
Is all this trouble and money really worth it????
