Introducing myself

Hello all, Im julz and I just found out that I am now offically an RN! I have already been hired and working in an ER. I have been a nurse extern/pct there for 18 months in a Trauma 1 innercity hospital. I now get to join their team as a nurse. I will be working at a different campus because I felt jumping straight to the trauma side was a bit much. So I am at the other location that is level 2. I am so excited and know that ER is right for me. My manager for the last year and a half said ER nurses are not raised they are born.

I am not young I am 35 so I am confident in my abilities and I know after all these years I know what I DONT KNOW.

I look forward to learning from my preceptors as well as what ever you all here can offer from your years of experience. This first year will be tough I know but If I can survive the crazy women instructors in Nursing School I should be able to handle a crazy ER. We shall see.

Anyways Hi all and I cant wait to get to know you all.

Julz

P.S. sorry if I sound like im on crack I had a few drinks cause I just found out I passed my boards less than 3 hours ago.
