had a interview yesterday

So, I had an interview with a jail yesterday..... She didn't really ask me any questions, just described the certain nursing jobs within facility and that is really it. And the first words she said was, " We usually don't hire new grads" so I'm thinking why did you even call me for an interview? but what I said was, well I am a new nurse, but I am not new to the healthcare field, I have been working in the hospital for last 3 years providing patient care. So, I don't know if that will make a difference but I am not expecting to get a call to schedule for a polygraph test!
