Interview for nursing school

Hi everyone!

My interview for nursing school is coming up soon, hopefully, and i'd like to be as prepared and not nervous(as most as I could possibly not be.... ;-))

So can I have the questions... and the answers to them please? (ASAP)

Which school did you apply to? Questions differ among different schools. During my interview at Samuel Merritt University, I was asked:

What do you think is an important issue in health care?

I said the cost of health insurance.

Give an example of a special accomplishment/achievement.

I described a difficult situation I had with a patient as I was working as a CNA.

Describe a difficult time in your life and how did you overcome it.

A death in the family. I dealt with it by staying positive.

What role do you think nurses play in health care?

A very important role.

And other questions about the program I was applying to like, why did you choose this program? What interests you about nursing?

Why do you want to be a nurse?

What can you bring to the school?

What's the hardest decision you've had to make?

Pretty simple.

well as how others had said before it was the typical questions

i cant really remember right now the questions exactly but i'll do my best

why do you want to be a nurse

what do you feel you can add to influence your care

Since I was basically a shoe-in (not my words..but the interviewer's)..the only question I was asked was "Why do you want to be a nurse?". The rest of the time was spent touring and setting up my class schedule. And tell me more about the school.

I have my interview on Thursday!! :D
