Interview !! NEED HELP

Hello Everyone,

I am a new nurse and going to have one interview within couple of days .This is nurse residency position in ER Settings ( for new grad or who don't have acute care experience). I had a brief interview with nurse recruiter and she scheduled my interview with nurse manager . This is my first interview out of more than 200 plus applications. I am trying my best to make it good . Will someone please share their thoughts what to expect /what sort of questions and how to answers them . Since , I do not have much time to prepare I am really panic .

Your time and considerations is appreciated.

Thank you

Hi there!

Although every agency has a different recruitment process, I think a shadow is very good news. I got an offer after my shadow, so did all my friends who did one. It's not a guarantee, of course, but I think it means you are at least on the short list.

I think if you don't hear within a week, that would be a good time to follow-up to keep yourself top of mind and reinforce your interest.

Good luck! Hope you get it!

Congrats! Shadow is like dating before you get married. I have requested to shadow in the past after my interview. I know new grad jobs are hard to come by but I still have some standards. If the place I shadow doesn't seem to be a good fit, I would not accept the job offer.
