Interview for hospital-based case management position

Case management is a pretty broad field,  so it does depend on what type and what department.  But in general,  I think good old nursing stuff like prioritization and time management are important.  Do you know what EMR they use and are you familiar with it? Some positions require that you know insurance and billing policies. You may need to know how to balance what a patient needs versus what is cost effective for the facility. Try to match some of your qualifications and past experiences to what they are asking for in the position.
