.... and it went great. My interviewer said that she'd be shocked if I wasn't accepted. This is a relief because I only applied to one school
We talked about the clinical rotations and I was so excited to learn that I'd be on L&D starting my second semester and I'll have a chance to go back and capstone there provided I do really well on all my med-surg rotations!!! :)

Could you provide some insight as to what the interview was like? Types of questions? Interview attire still the same? are "skinny/straight fit" (not leggings or 'jeggings' ) trousers ok?
Glad to hear your interview went well!! [emoji3]

I'm not a frequent user here so I'm sorry for the delay in reply.... The interview was seriously so easy. I barely got any questions, just "Why do you want to be a nurse?" and then we got into a long discussion about my life so far, why I'm so interested in L&D, what my support system is like, and then she explained how the class schedule works and answered the 1.5 trillion questions I had for her about what the experience is like there. SO. EASY. It was like hanging out with a mom or something and she repeatedly assured me that I'd probably be accepted, and within 5 days I had an acceptance letter waiting for me! I was incredibly prepared for "greatest strengths/weaknesses," "why did you pick this school?" and situational questions and I'm glad I was, but I needed none of it aside from my answer about why I wanted to be a nurse.
I wore a black pencil skirt with a black blazer, white dress shirt, and black flats/pantyhose. One set of piercings, I obviously took out my extraneous ear piercings (second set/tragus). I just wore some concealer to even my skin tone and mascara for make-up because I wanted to look good but I didn't want to be flashy about it. Edit: Oh, and I did send a thank you note after!
Awesome! Thank you so much for your reply and an insight to a few questions!
