Interference On UDS

Hi, I’m in the SC RPP and just got a call from my case manager stating that my urine screens since I had COVID in august showed “interference”. She skirted around what kind of interference it was and kept asking if I had taken anything. I won’t even eat soy sauce- I would never take anything. Ever since I had COVID the lab I go to doesn’t split my urine drug screens. I go right after my nighttime shifts in the ED and never drink water.

I’ve been in a year and two months and have not had any problems until now. I go where I go because I don’t have to pay a copay or wait 3 hours.

Has anyone had this before? It’s very frustrating. I requested the records and it showing insufficient amount or lc/ms interference

I was in a situation somewhat similar to yours. During Covid, we were permitted to do oral swabs on video at home. After being in the program for nearly 3 years (was almost finished & never had issues), my very first sample came back +THC- which was completely inaccurate. I had to fight tooth and nail to prove my innocence. I immediately got a hair test, which was negative. Hired a lawyer & he fought with the board. They extended my sentence by one year. I’m still reeling over it. Anyway, my advice is to get a hair test and secure an attorney ASAP. Apparently, the only reason I had extended one year and not 3 was bc of the negative hair test. Good luck!
