Interested switching to Dialysis-CA Training Program

Hello all, I found this site www.cdph.ca.gov that list approved hemodialysis Technician Training Program.

Just be aware that some are LPN/LVN, RN and most are hemodialysis technicians but the training program are the same across the board. The difference would be the positions that you will apply for.

I came across a thread asking about it but skeptical about the tuition. Yes, there are trainings out there for you esp. with DaVita, Inc. but good luck landing on their program because it is highly competitive.

I hope this helps a lot of people. :typing

The list on their site is incomplete.

I am currently enrolled in a State Approved Hemodialysis Training Program.

The school's name is Northern California Nursing Academy. Approved by the CA Dept of Health. Great teachers and very welcoming environment.

Give them a call to ask for info.

There are just a few Training Centers in the SF Bay Area, and this is one of the best.
