Hi,
Im a sophomore in high school and Im looking at colleges in Nashville. Im seriously considering moving to Nashville when I graduate from high-school. Actually Im past considering, I am moving to Nashville after high-school. Ive been looking at different colleges in Nashville. I was interested in Lipscomb University because they partnership with Vanderbilt if you want your Masters. The only thing is I don't want to specialize in anything, I just want to be an RN that works on the Labor and Delivery unit. Lipscomb also has a program that you go to Lipscomb for 2 years and then go to another school for 2 years and you get your BSN from that school, such as Belmont. The only problem is that I deeply desire to go to Vanderbilt. So I guess I will either hasve to get a MSN and go to Vanderbilt or just get a BSN without going to Vanderbilt and not specialize in anything. Then I think right after I gradaute high-school I will go to a college in Georgia that way I can use my HOPE scholarship to save a little money. I emailed Lipscomb and they said that I could do 30 hours of pre-reqs and then transfer, I just have to take all of my biology, chemistry, and statistics at Lipscomb. Lord at all the choices. I would like to know how much do different hospitals pay RN, BSN starting off? Thanks for all the help.

Belmont is a good nursing school, as well as Lipscomb and Aquinas. Vanderbilt is very very expensive. I would steer clear of TSU. I hear their NCLEX pass rate is exceptionally low. I hear alot of bad things about their program. Good Luck.
