Info needed for WGU's RN to BSN program

Nursing Students Western Governors

Published

Yay they just opened up the program again for nc students. I just sent in my application and will request all my transcripts tmr. Can anyone give me the layout of the rn to bsn program? how the classes are setup? test, papers or discussion questions? Do you love the program? I have applied to two other schools. ULL and UNCW. I've been accepted to ULL already. I'm just trying to weigh my options and see what is the best fit. Any information would help. Thanks

So, it will depend on what you transfer in as to what you'll have to complete. I started October 1st and had to take 12 classes. I have finished Stats, Care of the Older Adult and Nutrition and am currently working my way through the new version of biochemistry. So far, it's very doable, although the new version of Biochemistry is confusing. Hopefully they'll get the bugs worked out soon! Some classes are just tests, others are a combination and others are just papers. If you have a test, it's monitored via a webcam (they send to you) to make sure you're not cheating.

what classes other than the core nursing classes did you have to take?

Which program did you choose? I am trying to decide on programs and I have applied to UNCW.
