InEmory MN - Spring 2022

Hey everyone!

I don't see a thread for the Spring 2022 InEmory application, so figured I'd start one. I just submitted my application last week. 

How is the application going for everyone else?

Do either of you know if the work commitment required is for a med surg floor?

Yes, there is a 2-year requirement on a med-surg floor.

Hi,

Yes, I submitted back in April. Overly anxious I will tell you. I do have a few questions about the med-surg floor like what all does it entail? I hear so many pros and cons about working med-surg so definitely nervous about it.

Hi Everyone! I have submitted my application for the Spring as well! I was wondering if any knows what the acceptance rate usually is for this program?

Not sure of the acceptance rate for the inEmory program specifically, but overall for the nursing programs is ~40%. They are aiming to have 80 spots in the upcoming inEmory cohort. Not sure how many applications they receive.

I submitted my application in April. I'm excited but also super nervous! What are some the reasons you all chose to apply to the InEmory program specifically?

Hello! Would anyone be looking for a roomate starting in January 2022? I’m from out of state so I thought it might be a good idea to plan for housing a while in advance. I look forward to meeting you all at Emory!

Hi Allyssa,

I'm sorry I'm not looking for a roommate but did you already get your acceptance? I've been checking every day but my application still shows "Received."

Yes, I received an email this past week saying that my application portal was updated and when I checked there was a letter stating I had been selected for admission. I hope you get your acceptance soon ?
