I will be taking the NCLEX-RN in about 24 hours and guys I am sooooo nervous. Last night I had crazy insomnia. I kept thinking about questions, conent, and more questions. I think I finally feel asleep at around 4:00am and got right back up at 7:30; and I am not even tired!! I woke up thinking about more questions. I hate when my anxiety level gets this high; I don't know what to do! Although I feel prepared- I took Dr. Sides review 2 weeka before graduation, 2 HEISI exam (890 and 901) a week before graduation, Kaplan review 2 weeks after graduation, over 1500 question- there is still something inside that is giving me doubt. Everyone PLEEEEEAAAASSSSSSEEEE pray for me :sniff:

THE BEST OF LUCK TO YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!! :):balloons: I'm sure you will do just fine. :) You're ready...you just have to relax when you're taking the test. You don't want to make silly mistakes. Just take your time on the exam. No rush. And you will be fine :) Keeping you in my prayers :)

thanks alot LPRN2006;I'm trying my best to relax

I'm right there with you kinajp!!! I take mine at 2:00pm on Tuesday and I have been going nuts trying to keep myself calm. I keep thinking to myself that I know I can do this, but there is still a piece of me that has doubt!!

We'll have to stay positive!! I read another post where someone said they went in there just telling themselves over and over again that they are going to pass and they wrote 75 in big numbers at the top of their board that they give you, and it worked!! I'll just try and stay positive, and I'll be thinking about you tomorrow!! Good luck!!! You'll do great! Let us know how it was!! :)

Ok, time for a Group Breathing Session!!

Everybody ready? Good!

Sit up straight, fold your hands in front of you on the desk. Close your eyes (ok, do this after you're done reading!!). Take a long, slow breath in, hold it for a second, let it out long and slow. Repeat three or four times. Say to yourself (out loud, or in your head), "I am going to pass this exam. I have passed hard exams in nursing school, and I GRADUATED nursing school. This is only one test and I am SO ready for it. There's no way I'm going to fail, I'm better than that. The number of questions I have to answer means NOTHING; I will get just as many right as I need to to PASS. When the computer shuts off, it's because I PASSED."

Print this and refer to as necessary :) :D

Hey there :) Actually I just took the test last Thursday and I didn't exactly write 75 on the white board, but a few days before the test, I had this "feeling" that I would only get 75 questions. Indeed I did!!! I did write on the white board "I will pass" and underlined pass several times. And i passed!! With 75 questions too!!! Just believe in yourself :) Personally I'm always doubting myself and positive for others. That's just me hahaha. You guys will do fine :)

I'm also taking mine on Tuesday. It is stressful. My psychic friend said that I would pass with around 90 some questions. Don't laugh, he was right about everything I consulted him on while in nursing school. So, I hope he's right this time of all times.
