Immunizations

Did the maricopa colleges get rid of the immunizations as part of the application process or am I not finding it?

I am not sure which application process you are talking about, but when I went through the CNA, I had to get my blood tested to see if I was still immune to certain things(MMR,Td,TB and so forth) I am also having to do the same thing with the nursing program, which I will start in January. There was a form that was attached to the application. I know the TB has to be done withing 6 months of starting the course.

Good luck

the nursing program

On the application, I don't think there is none needed. Once you get accepted then you have to make sure they are all up to date. Also, I found out that your TB, CPR, Td, and fingerprint card cannot expire during the first semester (Block 1). So keep that in mind. I waited a year to get in. Good luck.

What are the costs for MMR, and TB tests? Where can you get them? I need these for my EMT program.

Thanks!

Jeremy

I just emailed my advisor, because I didn't see the requirement on the application anywhere. She said the immunizations aren't required until you have actually been accepted into a program.
