I'm sorry, I don't really understand what you're asking. You state you're looking for "facts" about an opinion?

thx for reply. well not really fact but I need to have positive opinions about immigrant nurses should not take nclex. thx very much

Specializes in Operating Room.

As in, immigrant nursing students do not need to take NCLEX to get licensed?

This makes me giggle a little.

Specializes in ICU + Infection Prevention.

Why the hell should anyone not have have to pass the NCLEX?

Specializes in Wound Care, LTC, Sub-Acute, Vents.

i don't understand your question. everybody who wants to practice as a nurse in the united states needs to take and pass the nclex.

if you successfully completed a nursing program in a foreign country, then you need your transcripts evaluated by cgfns and pass several exams including the nclex.

Sounds to me like all y'all need to learn to talk 'merican. Sorry, I don't understand your question either...care to re-phrase?

Is this a schoolwork assignment, like you're assigned to debate this side of the question in class?

I agree your question is not worded clearly -- are you asking about whether immigrant nurses should not be allowed to practice in the US at all, period (not take NCLEX as in not get licensed) or whether they should be able to get licensed without writing the NCLEX (as in, license them on the basis of having a license from another country)?? (Or something else entirely??)

I don't think you're going to get too many opinions or "facts" supporting either of those positions here, but good luck ... :)
