I'm in!

At University of New England. It is such a relief to know I'm accepted somewhere! I'm flying to WA tomorrow (from New England) to interview at Gonzaga, too. All that waiting, and then all of a sudden it's all happening at once!

Thanks so uch to those who supported me through this process!

Just got back from Gonzaga and I loved it. Now I'm drooling over that program! I liked Spokane a lot too and there is plenty of architectural work for my husband. I honestly don't know how well I interviewed - I did my best and didn't lose composure or act seriously nervous, but one of the interviews seemed designed to make me uncomfortable in a subtle way (cutting me off, asking a new question before I could finish the first) and it did kind of throw me. They really liked my GREs, although they did of course ask why I had a GPA of 3.4. They said they would expect 3.8 at least from someone with my scores.

I mailed six thank-you notes, one to each interviewer, the afternoon after the interview.

They promised I can call Thursday and they'll tell me. So now we wait. I'm thrilled to be in at UNE and will happily go there if that's what happens, but I still want Gonzaga.

Gonzaga's a no-go. Samuel Merritt is just gearing up to start interviews, so I'm putting a deposit down at UNE on the assumption I'll go there. If I'm in Samuel Merritt I'll reevaluate the options.

I'm composing my letter of acceptance right now. Anyone from UNE who has input about the program, please message me. I'd love to hear some inside info.
