I'm ENGAGED!

I don't know where else to post this LOL! I have been dating the same wonderful man for over 2 years now....we met through an old job DURING my seperation+ divorce....he is SO wonderful and LOVES my kids and my kids LOVE him! Well I have had a whole " host" of feminine medical problems lately and he's been amazing through it......I kept thinking to myself " any guy who can go through this and still want me ha ha" ...well anyway tonight he helped me move my office from 1 floor to another and as I was taking out drawers in my desk I found a ring box- and I thought what is this? I was so clueless I thought it was some old thing I had forgotten about- ha ha! Anyway I opened it and there was the most BEAUTIFUL ring....sapphires + a diamond ( I LOVE SAPPHIRES) and I said " Where did this come from " totally out of surprise and he came around the corner as I was holding it...dropped to his knee and said " I put it there....will you be my wife".

    that having been said, i must tell you about my dear huby. he had spent a week painting a banner at work to place on the overpass over the highway i take to work everyday. that morning i woke on the very wrong side of the bed... a real bit witchey. we argued until he left, then as i drove on the way to work, i saw him standing up there, fiddling with something as a pd car drove away. found the banner later that night stretched across my kitchen... he was out with the boys (planned in advance). the pd officer had been called to request he put the banner away as it was a distraction to traffic. that was what he was fiddling with when i went by. another girl at work later that night said she saw the banner extended, "some guy asking some girl to marry him." imagine my surprise when i got home to a banner that read "amy will you marry me" across my kitchen. and no one was home!?! i still have the banner... and everytime i go past that stretch of highway, i still have my overpass, too! wonder if i could take digital pics of each to crop together to see what i missed...
