I just came across a post today about Suzanne's plan is no longer available in this nursing forum.
I was TOO LATE...
It was one of the reasons why I register here and I was really eager to reach 15 posts so that I could PM her.
TOO BAD!
I really wanna try the said plan. I heard a lot of success stories about it.
This would be my 2nd try for the NCLEX and that I'm really praying that I could pass.
It's hard to be unemployed and that my husband is working a lot of OT's to make ends meet.
I feel so useless because I can't work on the profession that I loved the most.
I'm totally feeling down.

Make up your own study plan! You can do it! Get a calendar and a copy of Saunders Comprehensive Review or whatever review book you are going to use and get to it. Do some research about and decide whether you are going to use an online or in person review if you can afford one. Then schedule a date three to four months out, or however long you think you will need, and get started! Every day work on your study and you will get there! Good luck.

Agree with the above poster- get the saunders, take the test and it will devise a study plan for you-o r take an NCLEX reveiw course. I personally think just reviewing all of the diseases and how you would treat them, what there normal characteristics are, prioritizing patient care, and knowing the classifications of drugs and what there most common side effects are, how to do diagnostic tests and what type of paperwork and precautions are needed, and also know precautions you would take for infection control- is really what is important. I also think being relaxed and just taking it like it is any other test will help you out. YOu can study all you want, but keep in mind, this test is made to determine your your knowledge of being an ENTRY level nurse- keep that in mind while you are doing it because it is not a test that is expecting you to think like a nurse with X amount of years experience- its to get you to critically think and make educated guesses. Good luck next time, and take it when your ready!

You can do it and there are many threads in this forum that will give you some ideas on how to study. Have a good read and make some notes. Think about what the way you study and work something round it
Good luck
Thanks for all the replies. I appreciate it. I was really desperate to try Suzanne's plan because I have horrible study habits. I can't sit for long reading and answering test questions. I'd definitely try making up a plan by myself and I hope it'll work just like Suzanne's plan is. =D
