ierf or cgfns

hi.. i'm just wondering what is more suitable for me.. taking ierf or cgfns??? i don't have a local licensed yet in the philippines because i have given the opportunity to migrate here and now i already have my green card. i'm a newly grad of BSNursing.. And I have no idea what am I going to do next. Does Texas reguire passing the cgfns?? or it's fine that I'll just take the ierf? please answer me.. thank you guys.. God bless...

Check out the international forum and the sticky there called Primer to work in the US. I don't think Texas require CGFNS exam but CES but you will need to pass NCLEX

CGFNS exam is not required for Texas.

For Texas, you will need to go thru the CES process with CGFNS, and then write the NCLEX-RN exam once you have permission to do so from the Texas Board of Nursing. If you already have a green card, then you do not need to go thru the Visa Screen Certificate process.
