ICHS - 2021

Hey Guys,

Sorry I’ve been MIA but been working hard these past 4 months!  I just finished the first part of the RN program at ICHS and let me tell you it’s a lot of work!  Regular reading assignments, then quizzes, clinical work then RN case studies.  All these assignments are do EVERY week until the end of the semester!!  Yes!   It’s doable tho, but very very time consuming.  You definitely have to be good at working independently.

Today was my last final exam (I had 3 this week) and they weren’t to bad but enough to make you think and re-think.

Overall, it been a great ride.  Instructors are very helpful with questions.

8 more months to go.......

Thank you for the encouragement. When are assignments posted and when are they due? I am trying to adjust my work schedule. This info would help me organize my November schedule.

Assignments are due every Sunday.  They open on Mondays.  So you'll have assignments due back to back.  As long as they are turned in on Sunday, you don't have to submit every day of the week.  It's best to but if you're working then as long as they all are submitted by Sunday, you'll be fine.

How often have you had the proctored exams? I worry about being able to complete proctored exams due to kids running all over my house.

Proctoring is very very strict!  No Children, pets of any kind, no noise period.  No looking off the screen, no talking, reading aloud.  If you do, you’ll get a “0” for that exam.  Trust me, it’s the truth!

I don’t understand your question.  Are you talking about the orientation where you are tested on Navigation of the platform?  If so then yes you’ll have guidance, meaning if you get any wrong someone will help you until you get it right.

This only applies to “orientation navigation”

Yes, It’s basically just to show you the resources available to you during the program.  It’s easy.
