I am starting nursing school in two weeks, I've planned to quit my job and dedicate myself to studies during this next 16 months. I have F.Aid, and a Staford loan, but I need more money if I want to survive all the program by my own, do any one of you know where can I request an independent student loan??? please help me!!

Try your bank they may have a student loan. Also some credit unions have decent rates on loans too. Be sure to read the terms though.

Be careful! Some of those student loans are highway robbery and will have you paying them back for decades. I would recommend spending some time with the financial aide department of the school you will be attending. I was able to get hooked up with some decent loans through the school. Also, after the first semester I found access to scholarships was a lot easier.
Good luck with the $$$ and good luck with nursing school :yelclap:

See if your school might have some kind of tuition waiver.

For a private loan I used Wachovia, in my research they are relatively good.
