where do I start?

I am a military spouse and moving in a few weeks to san diego, ca. I'm looking for info on LVN program? Like what are the pre-requisites? I enrolled at the community college but since i am not there yet i can't yet much info. Can anyone guide me to what classes do I start?

There are LPN programs at the local community colleges. I go to San Diego City College and I know for sure that they have a program for Vocational Nursing. It requires you to complete three things before you can start the program: 1) HS diploma or GED 2) CNA program and 3) 100 Hour Health Care Essentials course. But other schools you might also want to check out are: Grossmont College, Miramar College, San Diego Mesa College, Southwestern College, and Mira Costa College depending on where you will live. Look at the websites to see how much info you can gather while you're waiting to get here...that will definitely save you some time as you've narrowed down your search.
