Hello everyone! So I start my first RN job at a subacute rehab/ltc next week. I am very nervous and excited! The lady told me I will be starting on the floor first instead of orientation because orientation isnt for another month or so, so I will get the floor experience and then go to orientation in a month. Does this seem reasonable to do? Im scared of just getting pushed on the floor without proper orientation but im a more hands on person anyway

Any words of wisdom for the new RN in general!?
