2. who was your role model? nobody.

3. what was your motivation to become a nurse? flexibility, income, and opportunities for career advancement.

4. what gives you satisfaction? knowing that i helped in some little way.

5. what are your responsibilities? lvn charge nurse at a nursing home (meds, treatments, assessments, charting, scheduling, skilled observation).

6. what are your challenges? dealing with verbally abusive family members and demanding patients. managing my time.

2. Who was your role model? A psych nurse I once met, and a nurse at an abortion clinic.

3. What was your motivation to become a nurse? Flexible hours and jobs anywhere in my country.

4. What gives you satisfaction? Discharging a patient home, in better health

5. What are your responsibilities? Meds, wound care, patient education, documentation, making referrals to Social Workers, Padres, and working with students.

6. What are your challenges? Families who want to prolong life in a parent who is too fragile to continue treatment.

7. What are your rewards? A thank you from discharged patients and the paycheque.
