Ok...I need some help. Just found out that I have to take another placement test Monday before entering the nursing program (evidently I was supposed to take it all along...but it somehow got overlooked and now I've gotta move quick in getting it done). It is a math placement test to test out of Algebra. I've done great in medical math...but was never good at Algebra in high school (which was more than 15 years ago).
Please help! I need some study sheets, explanation sheets (of how to work different problems), etc....anything you have that can help me pass this placement test. If I don't pass, then I can't take the nursing until I take a math class...which would really stink!!
Thanks in advance for any help you can give me!!!

I bet you can google practice algebra problems. That should help. There are even some videos on YouTube of teachers working through problems so you can see it being done.

There is a nursing math threat on this site that will probably walk you through all the nursing math you will every need to know. It's a sticky thread at the top of the page on the student nursing tab.

Try Purplemath
I don't have any problem with nursing math...I aced that class as in LPN school...but now going into the RN nursing program, the college requires a placement test mostly focusing on algebra...which i have never been too good at.

Hi! I would try math.com. I used this to study for my Hesi placement test!
Good Luck!
