Please my pple,i have a concern.I was hired 3months in a hospital where i am into night shift.i started but due to the fact that i want my now 7months child to have limited number of days to go to day care,i went to my manager to request for weekend option.She told me that she has hired enough pple for weekend night then i ask her,what of weekend days,then she told me she'll see what she can do about it.One day,i was off and she called me telling me that ican go into weekend days,then i said yes.Then,i didnt have to go into night orientation.I am suppose to be off orientation by saturday,24,nov.I worked last on sunday and because we do self schedule and i,ve not done my schedule before.After work,i asked one of my collegue how to do the schedule on our website and while she was walking me thru it.She ask me why i am scheduling weekend.Is the manager aware of it?I said yes.She asked me again,'as a new grad'?Thou i have like a year experience b4 coming here in US.She said well,let her not go into it and she left.Then i went home.i fifnshed my schedule at home.Yesterday,my manager called me and told me she wants to switch one of my scheduled weekends.Then i asked her what of the WEO she told me that she later found out that i need to have 3years of experience b4 WEO in contrary to the 6months she told me b4.That i can schedule myself for weekend just that the hosp wont pay me fo WEO.She told me that ican switch btw night and days depending on which one i want just as that same nurse that asked me question about my weekend schedule.Then i know that something wasnt right,somewhere.I was so devastated.I dont know what to do.If to continue scheduling myself for weekend for my child with no pay ,go to night as i wanted or what. i am so so confused.i dont know what to do.I need your advice and sorry for this long story.Azor
