I made a FB for my nursing school cohort and it was to exchange information about events and get study tips and such ... but it so happens someone posted ... in summary a post about going to vote and understanding where our nation stands today, the post was followed by a video with all this math and whatnot explaining why Obama is bad and it goes on to compare Obama to evil evil men in history ... I really don't like this being there but I don't want any issues with people... is it wrong of me to inhibit political discussion? Is it ok? Or should the site be soulely for nursing? yet again nursing could include politics but ... idk.. idk... help?

Nursing only. I would request that anything personal (such as politics) not be posted. If it does not involve events or anything specific to your program it should not be there. That's what they have a personal facebook page for.

Well if you set the page for NURSING only then delete and tell them why. That could cause drama I think.

You created the facebook page, you can moderate it how you see fit. I see no problem with putting in the description "for Nursing discussions only" and deleting posts you don't want on there.

Since you created the page for nursing discussions, you should politely remind group members that topics/discussions not relevant to the program should not be posted.
