Well after much worrying, obsessing and stress I am SO happy to report that I got in to the nursing program in my area!
I am currently taking an accelerated CNA course as the school requires this before you start clinicals. I am hoping to land a spot in the accelerated program which is 3 years to BSN because I already have the entire year of freshman credits completed with the exception of one 2 credit class! So, I can start my gen ed's immediately but my official RN program start is in January.
Keep at it girls and guys...it will happen. I appreciate all the feedback I got on here. I will say this...a poster told me my essay was non-traditional and therefore weak and that the modern alternative writing style will not impress the college and while I revised some areas of the essay I kept the format and "dazzle" and it worked, the interviewer flat out said "when I read your essay I thought it was unique and showed that you were a great communicator and knew I had to meet you!". So don't be so quick to keep it traditional and don't be afraid to show your creativity. The program I got into was HIGHLY competitive and had 170 applicants for just 40 spots at what is arguable the best facility in our state. Like I said I did appreciate the feedback but wanted to pass my experience along to all of you.
Best of luck! If anyone has any questions about the essays (I had to write 4) or the interview process feel free to ask, I know every institution is different but when I was interviewing I got as many real life examples as possible to prepare.

CONGRATS xD *hugs* well done! *clap clap*
I'm new here but I'm 17 and I recently got accepted into my dream university to study Child Nursing and after 3 rejections I thought I would never get anywhere, but I got accepted and I am so happy. I was worried and stressed too, because I had to pass 2 exams and pass 5 interview stages, but it was all worth it. Good luck and congratulations again and you're going to do great

Congrats! My program is really competitive, for some reason this year we had 750+ applicants for I believe I was told 30 spots.
