:clpty: Congrats!! Welcome to a new life. :yeah:

...so where are you going? And as AuntNana says, welcome to a new life. You will eat, sleep and dream classes, studies, labs and have little or no social life, lol!

Oh yeah, I apologize..... I'm going to attend HFCC's program. The social life part won't be a problem since I'm already what people call a "lame". lol I'm a homebody, so the interference I'm worried about is trying to balance family (4 kids...5 if you include hubby...and 4 pets) and school. Thanks you all!!!

Awesome job! I'll be attending OCC this fall! Congratulations!!

Same to you.....thanks!!

Congrats! I'm waiting on HFCC acceptance. I have a question for you. You are already registered for your Fall classes? I didn't realize we'd do that right away.

Good luck

I didn't know either until I got the actual acceptance letter. So far (after 2 rounds of letters), it seems that the informational meeting is on a Friday, they give you options (section numbers) with the paperwork you get, and the following Monday you register for the section you want.

I hope you get it soon! When did you go on the list, mybrowneyedgirl?

Can you please tell me what courses you signed up for this Fall? I'm looking at the class schedule and am trying to figure out what my life will be like this Fall.

Thanks!

Certainly!!

They gave us a choice of 5 sections. The classes include NSG 120 & 126. Sections 1-4 are day classes that meet T-F for two days of class and 2 days of clinicals (Mondays off). Section 5 is M-W and has evening classing in there too. I do not know at this point where or what times the clinicals will be. We were told AM are from 7a-3p and PM were 3p - 10p. I registered for Sec. 01 because I need to go while my children are at school. If you have any other questions just let me know! Hope this helps!

That helps a lot. I too have kids and was wondering when I can expect to get out for the day and pick them up from school. Thank you for replying

You will get out a little earlier than 3 pm, unless you have a certain instructor. I was always able to pick up my kids by 3 pm.

126 meets twice a week, 120 meets once a week, right after 126. You do have Mondays off, but that is a good day to practice in the lab as you are learning skills during 126. I took that Intro Psych class Mondays from 4:30 to 7 pm during the first semester, as I had to finish that up. That's a good option if you do not take it online (either at HFCC or WCCCC). It fills up fast with nursing students, so register ASAP if you still need it. It's a drag taking it when everyone else has Mondays off for studying, but it's not a difficult class.
