I DID IT!

Published

After a year of hard work, sweat, and many tears, I can finally say that I DID IT! I took my last final today. This has been the longest, hardest year of my life but I made it. In the beginning, I didn't think I would be here saying that I made it because the pace of the LPN program was something that I was not used to and no matter how much I read on here about how much work it was, I trully was not prepared for the enormous amount of stress that was put on us daily. I prayed and I pushed forward the best way that I could, one second, one minute, one hour at a time. It will be an honor to take my oath and be pinned on Wednesday. I know that nursing is a calling for me and I will not let God down on this. I will be the best nurse that I can be. All of you guys out there that are just starting your LPN program never waver from your dream. You can do this and when it's over, you will be a better person for it. You will be one of God's helpers. Good Luck to you all! Now on to my RN!!

Congratulations, becoming a nurse was the best thing I ever did for myself. I hope you find it the same for you!

I didn't feel complete until I passed NCLEX. I felt very accomplished the day after graduation but seeing that "passed" and getting my license in the mail really sealed the deal.

Congratulations!!!

Thanks guys. I don't think it will feel real until I pass my NCLEX. I'm trying to study 2 hours a day.

You will need to study more than 2 hours a day, especially if you have little interruptions here and there which we all have.

Wow....i just started in November...i could really feel you...u make it see, so do-able..i tear in class just thinking if im gonna make it thru... Congrats u r truly an inspiiration for me...

We took mock boards at school and I passed well. They recommended 2hours of studying a day. What do you recommend?

:yeah:Congrats.....I am glad I read yours, I am currently in school for my LPN. We are on Christmas break right now and 6 months seem soooo far away! It is alot of work and with a family....way to go!!!
