I almost gave in!

I take boards tomorrow (Monday the 14th) and I almost gave in today and reviewed information!!! I spent the day shopping with my mom, got some new scrubs:) had lunch and was just about to sit down and go over some info....when I decided to go on here and tell you all about my almost slip up!!! I feel confident for tomorrow but another part of me is FREAKING out! Is that even possible? Not only am I taking boards tomorrow but it is the anniversary of my best friend's death, we lost her 3 years ago to a grueling 6 year battle of osteosarcoma. No I'm not crazy for taking boards on this day...she's the reason I'm becoming a nurse (more specifically a peds oncology nurse on the very floor she was treated) and I just felt good about this day and I know she'll be watching over me. After the test I'm heading to her parents house with out little circle of friends and having a picnic in their memorial garden. Tomorrow will be a good day:)

GOOD LUCK, I think it is a good idea to take it on the anniversary of your friends passing. You know she will be with you while you are taking it.

I take mine Tues.

:) i am glad that you enjoyed your day and didn't give in to any last minute studying. i wish you all the best tomorrow and remember to think positive and you can do this!!

Good luck and best wishes!

My prayers are with you.

WOW! That is so beautiful! I wish you nothing but the best and I'm sure you'll pass. Like you said, your friend is watching over you...That brought a tear to my eye. Good Luck and please let us know the outcome

Good Luck Sweetie!!!
