In one of my fluids book it says for Hypovolemia in Lab Test Results: Decreased H+H & RBC. I thought in hypovolemia (Isotonic fluid loss) everything is hemeconcentrated which would falsley increase the H+H & RBC? Please let me know. Thank you

If you are dehydrated, your blood will be more concentrated and those numbers higher because you're losing fluid but not RBC/Hb.
However if you are hypovolemic because of bleeding, you'll have a low RBC/H&H.
Thank you! Makes sense now

Is hypovolemia referred to as "isotonic fluid loss" because both water and sodium are lost?
Is dehydration always "hypertonic"?
Is there such a thing as "hypotonic fluid loss"?
Is hypovolemia possible from hypertonic dehydration? If so, then would the hypovolemia then be hypertonic?
Thanks!
