good morning everyone!! who dislikes this time change as much as i do?! it's so dark getting up, hard to get out of bed and go to work! :sofahider
has anyone attended a hurst live review? i'm going to one next week and am curious as to what they're like. i have the worst test anxiety and always freeze up when i'm in the test setting. it won't be my first time taking it, so i somewhat know what to expect, but it's still hard.
i was just wondering if anyone else had attended a review, or did the online one. some people have said it's only a content review, while others have said it teaches you test-taking skills and techniques. everyone i've talked to has said it just makes things "click". i guess i'll see.....just wanted others' opinions on it.
have a great day and an even greater week!!!
-feel free to send me a private message, i check it regularly.

"people die in front of us everyday. but i believe meredith will survive this. i believe, i believe, i... i believe in the good. i believe that it's been a hell of a year and i believe that, in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary, that we will be okay. i believe a lot of things. i believe that... i believe that denny is always with me... and i believe that if i eat a tub of butter and no one sees, that the calories don't count. and i believe that surgeons who prefer staples over stitches are just lazy. and i believe that you are a man that made a terrible mistake marrying callie and i believe that because i'm your best friend i can tell you this and we can be okay. i believe that even though you made this mistake you will be okay. i believe we survive, george. i believe that believing we survive... is what makes us survive."

Hi there! I took their online review. I think its great! It's not boring at all.. plus you will be amazed how "clinical" things sound with her. I mean when she teaches about for example Chest tubes - she doesnt just teach you how it works but the what if's -- what if you see this, what if this happens, etc.. which I think is very important cos some NcLEx questions are all about the things you need to do FIRST (prioritization) when a certain thing happens (i.e. chest tube disconnects, what to administer FIRST when a patient with chest pain presents to ER etc..) The perfect combination I think is HURST-KAPLAN (the book/kaplan trainer CD are enough)-SAUNDERS.
I did self review using all three resources and I passed the NCLEX on the first try! :)
And of course, keep praying - when you've done your best - the only thing that you can hold on to is Him.
