I am looking to purchase the Online Hurst Review and was curious to know what are the "Hurst's Core Content lectures." I understand I will only have 90 days access to them, but I wanted to know what the topics were.
I am set to graduate in May. My last two classes are community health and leadership. While I was pregnant during my second semester of nursing school I didn't retain hardly any of the material. So now I am playing catch up in preparation for the NCLEX (& the ATI predictor scheduled in Jan)
I'm thinking I will use my winter break to review the material from my 2nd semester. Plus I know it doesn't hurt to review the other materials as well.

The lecture topics are stated on the hurst review website's home page on the right hand side. They are listed in the order in which it is recommended you review them.

Hurst is a great content review. Hope this helps. Best wishes.
Yes but which are "Core" topics available for 90 days, and which are "Specialty" topics available for 1 year?

Specialty topics are:
Maternity Nursing
Complications of Maternity
NCLEX® Strategy Questions I
NCLEX® Strategy Questions II
Pediatric Nursing
Management and Delegation
Everything else is core. I'm not sure if Hurst covers community.

I am looking at my Hurst review book right now and the Core topics are:
Fluid and Electrolytes
Acid Base Balance
Burns
Oncology
Endocrine
Cardiac
Psych Nursing
Renal
GI
NEuro
Respiratory
Orthopedic
Maternity
Peds
Hurst does not cover community nursing. When I took Hurst the specialty topics were available for the same amount of time as the core content. Not sure if things have changed...
You get a year access to specialty content.
I took a live class and it was great. I now have access to the Core material for 30 days and Speciality information for one year. I was hoping that they had some apps for my phone as well but I haven't seen any
Thanks everyone!!

Something I wish I had known was that once you pay for and take the live review, you can take it again for up to a year for free. A guy I worked with took it right before his last semester. It helped his HESI scores and it was great to start learning some of the content. Then he did another live review course for free before he took boards. Just wanted to throw that out there.
That's my plan. There are a couple live reviews in my area coming up and I want to take it early before the HESI exit exam and again before the NCLEX.
