So... I recently graduated from my FNP program and am having a difficult time preparing on how and what to study. At this point, I horribly overwhelmed and I think it’s time I reach out to my fellow colleagues (which have already taken the test) to help me buckle down and come up with a study plan. I have been working with BoardVitals, Leik (3rd Ed. Book) and the FNP Cert. 3rd App that comes along with the book. Now what I’m having trouble is deciphering what topics, diseases/conditions and age group to focus on. I know there is a blueprint posted on the aanpcert.org site, but from what others have been saying, it’s not really accurate. So, for all of you that have tested recently, where should my primary focus be?

I'm nearing the end of my AGPCNP program, but if I were you, I wouldn't listen to people who say that the blueprint is inaccurate because their exam didn't have certain things on it. You may decide to not study something on the blueprint and then BAM, it shows up on your exam in spades. Have you tried a review course (either live or one that you can purchase for home study if you can't travel)? They usually hone in on the highlights of what will be on these exams.
Wishing you all the best!

Liek's book is highly recommended here by people that have passed the test.
