Hey All,
I was recently accepted into Northbrook college of health cares summer LPN program and i was wondering if any past or present LPN students could give me some pointers or advice that helped them.
Thanks!!

I'd just recommend trying to get as much R&R before the program as you can and make sure you have everything that's required by the time it's required. Try to hit the ground running and study in whatever way is best for you. After doing the LPN program and now doing an RN program I have learned to stop thinking there's only one good way to study (hours on end). I usually study for 30 minutes - an hour, take a break for 30 min - hour, study 30 minutes - an hour, take a break for 30 min to an hour. I got in over 5 hours of studying the other day and it didn't even really feel like I was studying much because I wasn't putting pressure on myself (procrastinating has always been a HUGE problem for me when it comes to studying, and I find when I do it this way I don't keep pushing studying back further and further until I'm panicking).
Also try to talk to former students of your program if you can find any and ask them what worked for them and what to expect. A lot of similarities between nursing programs but so many little differences. They're like people lol.
Thanks Jasel!!!
I am already preparing my nursing lingo! I also procrastinate often, it seems like i wont be able to do that if i want to succeed. I cant wait to start. If anyone has anything else that might help me i would really appreciate it.
