You should probably pick up an NCLEX book. In the front it will explain how to take NCLEX questions, and there will be tons of questions with rationale. It is really about learning to take the test, and also application of the material. If you have access to online resources like KAPLAN or NCLEX 4000, I would utilize them. The more questions you take, the better you will get.

I totally agree w/ the above poster. I always mark on my test (if allowed) & put a pencil mark by the totally bogus answer, then I look @ the other 3 answers and narrow my answer from there.

Are you doing ATI at your school? We got a great module on test taking this semester that's really helped me. Most NCLEX books have a section on HOW to take tests, which is important stuff to know. Answering SATA questions as T/F is a good trick.
Pockunit, what does SATA stand for and can you explain answering them t/f??
Thanks

Try the med surg demystified--I found it great for basic overview without having to repeat everything in the text before a test.
